Descripción
From Moraland, comes this white Summerlee shirt, short-sleeved, with a soft all-over-print pattern designed, exclusively, for the special edition by the artist Sergio Mora. Don’t miss the opportunity to discover this “Lost World“, a special touch in reference to Arthur Conan Doyle’s novel.
Inspired by the tiles and ceramic pieces he has worked with in Talavera and using the colour cobalt blue, his work is anecdotal and extravagant where you always have to look twice. His series Ventana Tropical develops his singular iconography, the volcanoes that bring life from the centre of the earth, with allusions to classic science fiction cinema.
Sergio Mora (Barcelona, 1975), also known as MAGICOMORA, is a painter, illustrator, drawer and a regular collaborator of the different Tiwel collections, having participated in some spring-summer seasons, with fun, striking and very recognisable garments.
We continue to hallucinate, because in Sergio Mora’s kaleidoscopic world, nothing is what it seems. It is a continuous flickering in the realm of the impossible. Winner of the Latin Grammy for Best Design for “El poeta Halley” by the band Love of Lesbian, he recently designed the murals for chef José Andrés’ Bazaar Mar restaurant, designed by Philippe Starck in Miami. He also collaborates with Gucci and other renowned designers. His illustration is inspired by childhood, games and toys, rock, pop, cinema, science fiction and monsters.
